Martin Albert E. Martin, Jr., 44, of Thompson Road, Mooers, died unexpectedly Friday, July 31, 2015 at UVM/CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY, on July 27th, 1971, a son of the late Albert E. Martin, Sr. and Edith R. (LaFountain) Martin. Albert held many jobs in the area. The one he enjoyed the most was at Dunkin Donuts in Champlain. He lived in many places across the region, and was helped my many different people, so the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Albert's memory be made to your local EMS. Albert enjoyed hunting and fishing, and had a great love for music and singing. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post #912 in Rouses Point. His loving family includes his two daughters, Heather Romat, of Mooers, and Cheryle Brunell of Crown Point, two brothers, Brad Martin and wife Gail of Rouses Point, and Carl Martin of Chazy, and one sister, Brenda Martin and companion Roger of Chazy, his five grandchildren, Jack and Amy Romat, Kirk Warren, Hayley and Anne LeClair, and one niece, Ashley Martin of Rouses Point. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by a sister, Tina Martin. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th, 2015 at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY 12979. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow all services in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point. Immediately following the interment, family and friends are invited to gather for a pot-luck meal at Christ and St. John's Episcopal Church Hall on Butternut Street in Champlain.
