Beverley Kennedy, 78, of Moore Street, Champlain, passed away peacefully Friday, August 14th, 2015 at her home. She was born in Plattsburgh on December 4th, 1936, a daughter of the late Russell and Myrtle (Upton) Williams.
Beverley was raised on a farm in Hemmingford, Quebec. She worked as a toll-collector at the Rouses Point Bridge Commission for some time before going to work for the NYS Department of Transportation in Plattsburgh.
Beverley was a loving home-maker, mother, and grandmother. She was also a lover of all animals, especially dogs. She leaves behind her beloved dogs (Sasha and "Tilly").
Her loving family includes her sons, Chris Kennedy of Champlain, and Kent Kennedy of Plattsburgh, her grandchildren, Jacob Kennedy of Champlain, and Amanda Dugger and husband, Leon, of Chazy.
Calling hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain NY. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 p.m. at Three Steeples United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Loan, Pastor, officiating.
