Obituary of Patricia A. Aborn

Patricia A. Aborn, 76, of State Route 9, Champlain passed away Friday, August 28th, 2015 at the Alice Center in Malone, NY. She was born in Moosup, CT on September 28th, 1938, a daughter of the late Olin and Gertrude (Gollmitzer) Miller. Patricia was a registered nurse for many years in both Connecticut and New York. She was a member of the Chazy Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Chazy fire department, and town of Vernon fire department. Pat loved animals, especially her cats Henry, Priscilla, Zoey, and Lucy. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, doing crosswords, reading, and travelling. She was also a wonderful cook. Her loving family includes her son, John Aborn and wife Amy of Chazy, two sisters, Claire and Susan, a brother, Olin Miller, Jr. of Florida, grandchildren, Bethany and Johnathan Aborn of Chazy, Christopher and Joshua Pearson of CT, and one great-grandchild, Alexandria Pearson. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Aborn in 2004, and her husband, William H. Aborn in 2005, whom she married January 30th, 1960.
