Timothy Francis Martin, 53, of Saranac Lake passed away peacefully Saturday, April 2, 2016, at University of Vermont Health Network-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Martin was born July 9, 1962, in Waterloo. He was the son of Wilfred F. and Wava Margaret (Brown) Martin. He attended St. Bernard's School in Saranac Lake. He married Kathleen Kay in August 1989 in the backyard of his sister Tammy and brother-in-law John Corrow's home in Lake Placid. Timothy is survived by his son Dakota A. Martin of Port St. Lucie, Florida; three sisters: Tammy Corrow and her husband John, Laura Martin, and Beulah Spencer; and two grandchildren: Jordan and Amber. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred F. and Wava Margaret Martin; baby Bridget and Joshua L. Rothstein; Kathleen Martin and his son Wilfred F. Martin.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at the M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. Anyone wishing to join and honor and remember the life of Timothy "Tim" Martin may do so at this time. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Saranac Lake at the convenience of the family.
