Obituary of Doris Madeline Branchaud

Doris Madeline Branchaud, age 92, of Lake Placid, NY passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at UVM Health Network in Plattsburgh, NY. Mrs. Branchaud was born November 15, 1923 in Malone, NY. She is the daughter of the late Albert and the late Elmira (Green) Goodreau. She was married to Roland Branchaud. Mr. Branchaud predeceased her May 28, 1976. She had worked for many years at the Thunderbird Motel, Lake Placid, NY and most recently at the Econo Lodge in Lake placid, NY. She loved the time she spent with her family and friends, she was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan, enjoyed curling and will be missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Napier of Saranac Lake, NY; two sons, Kevin Branchaud and his wife June of North Bangor, NY and Darrell Branchaud and his wife Waltinah of Lake Placid, NY. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Daniel Hathaway; one step-son, Terry Branchaud and one sister and one brother. Calling Hours will be held Saturday, November 12th from 12:00 Pm to 1:00 PM at the M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Rev. Paul Kelly will officiate. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
