Lawrence Joseph Pelkey, 80, passed away Thursday morning, January 5, 2016 at his home in Rouses Point with his loving family by his side. He was born in Rouses Point on March 24, 1936, son to the late Henry Pelkey and Elizabeth Menard. For many years, he had worked as a bartender in the family owned business, Anctil's Restaurant. Lawrence is predeceased by his wife, Jeannine but survived by much of his loving family. His family includes his son; Brian Pelkey and his wife Rebecca of Rouses Point his daughter; Sheila Juneau and her companion Kevin Tremblay of Rouses Point. His grandchildren; Jenna Ledoux and husband Jacob, Kaley Nephew and her husband Brad, Justin Pelkey and his fiancé Nicole Young and Jessica Pelkey and her companion Ryan Smart. Lawrence is also survived by his great-granchildren; Braden Nephew, Brooke Nephew, Kaitlyn Nephew, Carter Garceau, Paisley Ledoux, Isabella Pelkey, and Kylee Young. There are no calling hours. The services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the Rouses Point Rescue Squad or North Country Hospice. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point.
