Obituary of Gregory Scott Bosley

Gregory Scott Bosley (Scott), 69 of Rouses Point, NY passed away peacefully at home on January 25th, 2017. He was surrounded by his family; wife Marlaine, daughter Meghan, mother Rita and son-in-law Scott. Scott was born in Malone, NY on October 25th, 1947 to Rita (Deragon) and Percy Bosley. In 1960, the family bought The Anchorage in Rouses Point. He married Marlaine Lawrence in 1973 and together they ran The Anchorage Motor Inn. In 1980, their daughter Meghan completed the family. Scott was a quiet man. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and friend. He was also a great fan of the Cubs and lived to see the miracle! Scott is survived by his wife Marlaine; his daughter Meghan and son-in-law Scott ; his mother Rita ; his sister Nancy (Tom), his brother Michael (Jack), and his brother Christopher (Tammy) Scott is predeceased by his father Percy. Calling hours will be Friday, January 27th from 7 p.m. -9 p.m. held at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point. The Funeral will be held Saturday, January 28th from 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 138 Lake Street. A reception will follow at The American Legion, 29 Pratt Street. Internment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memory can be made to the Rouses Point Fire Department or Hospice of the North Country for their dedication and excellent care.
