Obituary of Reginald A. Mayo

Reginald A. Mayo (Reggie), 78, of Rouses Point passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on February 22nd, 1938, the son of Edgar and Yvonne (LaForest) Mayo. Reggie was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He worked at Harris Graphics in Champlain for many years, and he was a member of the Champlain Fire Department. He enjoyed going down to the coffee shop to talk with his friends, as well as spending time with his grandkids. Reggie was predeceased by his parents and twelve siblings. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane (Cayea) of Rouses Point, his son, Darrin Mayo and his wife Nancy of Champlain, his daughter Nicole Mayo and her companion Tommy of Champlain, his grandchildren Kylie, Myah, Sierra, Andrew, Whitney, Chance, Camdyn, and Cole, all from Champlain, one sister, Velita Parrish of Ausable, along with many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13th, 2017 at St. Mary's Church in Champlain. Afterward, everyone will be invited to a gathering at the VFW Post 1418 for continued fellowship. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home.
