Kenneth Charles Perry, 86, passed away on December 2, 2018 peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was born June 21, 1932 to Fred and Agnes (Rusaw) Perry in Massena, NY, and served in the Army during the Korean War. He returned home to continue his studies in chemistry at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. Graduating from Clarkson in 1957, Ken moved to Rouses Point to begin his career at Ayerst Laboratories as a chemist. It was there he met his wife, Louise Bouchard, whom he wed on September 5, 1959. He became the Director of Quality Control International before retiring in 1994.
He was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time with his family and wintering in Florida with his wife after retiring.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Louise (Bouchard); his four daughters and son-in-law: Debbie Perry of Nashua, NH, Joanne Barcomb of Manchester, NH, Nancy and David Carter of Ravena, NY, Michelle Tallman of Champlain, NY; his four grandchildren: Eric and Rachel Barcomb, and Kelsey and Mathew Carter; his brother and sister-in-law Harold and Jeanne Perry of North Port, FL; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at M. B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2018. A funeral service will take place at St. Patrick’s Church in Rouses Point on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM. After the funeral, a reception will be held at the American Legion, Post #912, 29 Pratt Street, Rouses Point until 4:00 PM.
