On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, Joseph Frank Clauss, loving husband and son, passed away at the age of 31. Joseph was Born on February 1, 1989 the son of Joseph and Carolyn (Scarano) Clauss at their home in Plattsburgh New York. He received his education at his family's home until high school where he attended Seton Catholic Central. His love of football was too strong for him to not get the chance to play with a team himself. After high school he attended SUNY Plattsburgh and from there went on to study chiropractic at Life University. Joseph and Rhiannon were married in Marietta Georgia August 7, 2015. Joseph became a Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2015 and opened his own practice with his life partner Rhiannon, in Lake Placid in June of 2016. Some of Joseph's most loved things are his dogs, cats, gardens, chickens, and fish. He loved the mountains for both hiking and skiing. He loved cooking, boating and football Sunday's. Tom Brady deserves his own sentence because Joseph absolutely loved Tom, as well as camping, hunting, and Dave Matthews. Anyone who knew him, knows his ability to light up a room. He made sure everyone felt his love with every interaction. His most recent accomplishment is completing the barefoot 46, beginning the legend of the #Gingergoat. Calling Hours will be held at M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 3 o'clock pm to 5 o'clock pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day, Monday, October 12, 2020, at 11 o'clock am at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lake Placid NY. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery in Cadyville, NY at the convenience of the family.
