Obituary of Ann T. Moorehead

Ann T. Moorehead, 94, of McKinley St., Lake Placid, NY passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Tupper Lake Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Lake Placid January 9, 1931 the daughter of John and Abigail (Nugent) Moorehead. Ann was a lifelong resident of Lake Placid and was a graduate of Lake Placid High School, Class of 1949. She worked as an operator for New York Telephone in Lake Placid and retired as a receptionist from the Lake Placid Hilton Resort Hotel in the early 1990's. Ann was very involved in the church, volunteering for many events and functions. Ann was Eucharistic Minister at St. Agnes and she was instrumental in assisting with ticket sales for the annual automobile raffle held by the church. She is survived by two nephews, Brent Bordeau and John Moorehead and two nieces, Annamarie Delong and Sheila Moorehead. Ann was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Margaret Jean Bordeau and Mary F. Moorehead; Two brothers, Robert M. Moorehead and John Paul Moorehead; one nephew Patrick Moorehead and two nieces, Cheryl Tripp and Caroline Moorehead. Visitation will be held Wednesday February 19th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in May at St, Agnes Cemetery. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
