David Thomas Sears age 56 of Balsam Street, Lake Placid, NY passed away peacefully at his home.

David was born on November 21 st,1968, the son of the late Annamae Sawyer and the late Robert A Sears Sr.

David grew up and worked in Lake Placid as a laborer becoming a master at drywall and painting houses. David was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He married his wife of 34 years Stephanie Bickford in 1991. Together they raised their 4 children Gabrielle Jonathan Jeremiah and Crystal.

David is survived by his brother Robert A. Sears, Jr. and his companion Susan Holmes; sister, Heidi and her husband Robert Caple; brother, Kevin and Earl Mason; and sister, Linda Marsh. He was also survived and loved by his grandchildren; Dominick, Dustin, Donovan, Blake, Marquia, Moriah, Madison, Connor, Brooklyn, and Summer; and several nieces and nephews. David's fierce love for his family will be greatly missed.

David was predeceased by his mother Annamae Sawyer Sweeney, father Robert A. Sears, Sr. and stepfather Earl Sweeney; and his brother, Michael D. Sears.

Calling Hours will be held on March 26th,2025 from 4 to 6 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. Rev. John Yonkovig will officiate. A reception will follow at the family home on Balsam Street.
