Austin James Bolinsky, born September 13th, 2005 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY, was just 19 when he passed away after a courageous battle with metastatic cancer. He fought for 6 long months before making the incredibly difficult decision to leave the hospital and live the rest of his life free from treatment. He lived his final weeks to the fullest, spending time making precious memories with his friends and family. He enjoyed spending his time fixing small motors, working on cars, fishing, hunting, and camping. Austin was a larger than life personality with an even bigger heart and always willing to lend a helping hand. Those he held close in his heart, he loved tremendously. In the early hours of Sunday May 25th, 2025 in Lake Placid, NY Austin took his final breaths at home with his family present, surrounding him with peace and love. Austin is survived by his parents, James H. Bolinsky and Pamela J. Reyell, his older sisters Kayla L. Hockenberger and Kristina M. Hockenberger, his godparents Clifford and Linda Reyell (Perkins), his only niece, Shelby, whom he adored, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family plans to host a dinner with close family and friends to celebrate Austin's life. Austin did not wish to have formal services. The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
