Nancy Cora Cornick 83 of Jay, NY and Saranac, NY passed away on November 9, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on February 27th in 1942 at her childhood home in Wilmington, NY. She is survived by her children daughter Tammy & Danny Garneau, a son David & Sheri Cornick, and daughter Tanya & Glen Stevens. One brother Harold & Marilyn Peck. Seven grandchildren David & Rebecca Cornick, Matthew & Amanda Cornick, Jennifer Frost, Mallory & Colby Foster, Brandon & Makayla Wallburg, Seth Stevens & fiancé Hailey Hart and Samantha & Noah Martineau. Thirteen Great Grandchildren Hailey Frost , Camden & Charli Cornick, Natalie Sabat, Owen & Landon Cornick, Marshall & Savannah Foster, Isabella & Benjamin Wallburg, Trinity Owens, Mavrick Smith and Niko Martineau. Nancy also has one great grandchild currently on the way (Waylon Stevens) a Special friend Ebin Salsman and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her father and mother Melvin and Blanche (Bowen) Peck, brother Francis Peck, sister Betty Shanks, sister Ruth Terry, sister Helen Hare, sister Shirley Smith, sister, Virginia Devins, brother Melvin Chipper Peck, son Ricky Cornick, and a great grandson Kibe Cornick. Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren gave her such joy in life. She loved decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. Oh how she loved Christmas Nancy also enjoyed going to the casino. It was one of her greatest past times. We spent many weekends away at the casino with her gambling away. Her favorite candy was milk chocolate raspberry jellies from Adirondack Chocolates. If you knew Nancy, then you know she loved her sweets. Calling hours are from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at M.B Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid NY on Thursday, November 13th followed by a funeral service starting at 5:30 pm.
