Linda A Planty 72, of Lake Placid, NY, passed away peacefully on 11/11/25 at her home surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on 11/11/1953 in Malone NY the daughter of Charles Hosler and Dorothy Johnson. Linda was the oldest of 3 children.

Linda attended school in Malone, NY and moved to Lake Placid when she was 19. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed doing all she did. She married Kenneth Planty Jr. in the spring of 1973.

Linda is preceded in death by her beloved son Christopher Hosler Planty and her granddaughter Elizabeth Planty.

Linda is survived by her husband Kenneth Planty, Sister Brenda Hosler, brother Charles Hosler, son Matthew (Shyanne) Planty, daughter Carol Planty, Grandchildren Kyle, Jacob, Brandon, Vee, Marissa, great grandchildren Dean, Faye, Emily rose.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on November14, 2025 at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid, NY. Father John Yonkovig will officiate. Burial will follow at North Elba Cemetery.
