Salli H. Curtis Obituary
Salli Ann Curtis, 84, of Lake Placid, NY, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. She was born on September 16, 1941, the daughter of F. Guy and Mildred L. (Larey) Haselton. Salli was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother whose energy and warmth shaped a lifetime of community service and family enterprise. Together with her family she founded and ran many local businesses — including Cobble Mountain Lodge, the Holly Hill Motel, a fabric shop where she made skating dresses, dog grooming and kennel services, the Corner Store, a diner, and Whispering Pines Campground — each built with hard work, creativity, and love.
An active supporter of youth skating, Salli served on the Lake Placid Figure Skating Board and volunteered countless hours for shows, competitions, and travel. She loved camping and travel, and cherished taking her grandson Joshua on camping trips. Salli faced a long illness with quiet courage and is now at peace.
She is survived by her daughters Kami Netri and Tiffani Healey, and her grandson Joshua Reynolds.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Church on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
