Nancy L. Strack, 86, of Lake Placid, NY, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. She was born Nancy L. Daniels on March 31, 1940. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Elsie and Don Davis of Lake Placid.

Nancy married Dick Strack on New Year's Eve, 1957. They went on to become the parents of a son, Rick, and a daughter, Shelly. They were married 68 years, spending time among family and friends in Lake Placid and many winters as snowbirds in Ponce Inlet, FL. Nancy was an avid Bingo player and spent many happy evenings waiting for her winning number to be called. Nancy and Dick enjoyed trying their luck at the casino and visiting with friends and their large family. Their coffeepot was always full, and there was always a place at their kitchen table. Unless there was a game, of course. She was the number one fan of Rick and Shelly and could be found cheering them on at all their sporting events in any weather.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Dick Strack; her son, Rick (Nancy), of Plattsburgh, NY; her daughter, Shelly (Melissa), of Saratoga Springs, NY; her grandsons, Shawn (Jackie), of Camden, ME; Timothy (Kelly) of Eagle, CO; five great grandchildren, Rosa, Maya and Marigold Strack of Camden, ME, and Otto and Inez Strack of Eagle, CO. Additionally, she is survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
