Alberta M. Nolette, 92, of Champlain, NY formerly of Rouses Point, NY passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
Alberta was born to Harry and Bertha Alger on May 22, 1929 in Mooers, NY. Bertie was the youngest of seven children and was close with her five brothers, Foster, Howard, Robert, Harrison and Richard Alger, as well as sister Hazel Dickinson, all of whom predeceased her.
She was married to Conrad J. Nolette of Rouses Point on September 25, 1959. Alberta worked at Chazy Central Rural School District from 1964 through 1991 until her retirement as accountant/ bookkeeper.
Left to cherish her memory include a son Richard and wife Darlene Nolette of Champlain, NY and her daughter Brenda Nolette of Dover, NH. Also, three grandsons and their wives Eric (Pam) Nolette, Cory (Rachelle) Nolette, and Kacy Nolette and companion Kate Timmons. She also leaves six great-grandchildren Mya, Dawson, Liam, Jace, Carter, and Noah Nolette.
As per Alberta’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours. A graveside memorial is planned for May 2022 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Rouses Point.
