Bev was a fine woman one of my Moms best friends!
I remember her involvement in many local clubs and causes and when she worked for Jimmy Strack across the street from our house at 425 Main St!

Mrs. Reid was a very special person in my life. I was always struck by her beauty inside and out.
She was an invaluable member of our speed skating club and cared for all of us as if we were her own children.
I was very fortunate to watch the friendship between the Reid’s and my parents. I shared stories of the Reid family as I moved to different states and when I returned, I was grateful to reconnect.
All my trips to Placid involved a beep of my horn and a glance to see if Mrs. Reid was in her chair by the window reading.
She was dedicated to her family and her town and we were blessed to know her.
