Cora, Ray & I were so sorry to hear about the devastating losses your family has endured recently. To lose both your mom & sister must have been beyond difficult.
I think every nurse in Saranac Lake & Lake Placid must have known Janet. I remember her as kind of a quiet force, knowledgeable, not critical. But not one to suffer fools. She always smiled, was always happy to chat for a minute. She was incredibly independent. But I know more than anything, she was mom, clearly the best part of her life. I’m sure 92 years with her doesn’t seem like nearly enough.
Please know we are thinking about all of you. (We missed the service because I broke my ankle).

To Our Clark Family,
Rick and I were so sorry to learn of the passing of our Aunt Janet. She always welcomed us with open arms—and a yummy treat or two!
We moved to Florida in 1961 so our families were not close while we and our eight cousins grew up. However, we enjoyed seeing everyone during our summers with our Dad & Mary in the mid-sixties. (That explains the meager number of pictures we have to share.) In more recent times, you have always welcomed us to your legendary Clark Family Picnic where good food and laughter were in abundance.
Cora, Abbie, Bea, Matthew, Polly-Jo, Zachary & Willis—Please know our hearts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Losing your Mom is a heart-wrenching and life-changing experience, regardless the how or when. We also want to extend our condolences to you for the loss of your sister, Gigi, in February. We have always admired your strong support of each other. Yes, you are a tight-knit clan!

So very sorry my friends for one of the greatest losses in life. I remember Janet very well and all the times that she came in to work to cover extra shifts. She was a sweet dear lady that I always could depend on. Know that she is with Matt and will be forever happy. Love to all.

I was a candy stripper at Placid memorial hospital when I was in high school, Janet was one of the reasons I became a nurse, she was kind,smart and always had time to teach us or explain things to us, she sure will be missed, Janet was an excellent nurse, Mom, Grandmother and so friendly and a great sense of humor, RIP
