Jeannine M. Surprenant, 92, of Champlain, NY passed away on March 12, 2024.
Jeannine was a loving Meme to many area children that she took care of over the years. One of her favorite pastimes was going to bingo with her friends. She also loved doing her many craft projects. She looked forward to cooking delicious meals and baking for her family at the holiday time.
Jeannine is survived by her son Donald and his wife Margaret, daughters Lisa Gamelin and Marlene Surprenant, along with 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, Jacques (1988) and Peter (2019), as well as her brothers Lucien, Norman, Ubauld, John Paul, Morris, and Bernard.
A funeral Mass will be held in the spring at St. Mary's Church in Champlain. Burial will follow at Glenwood cemetery.
Donations may be made in Jeanine's memory to the Activites Dept. at Plattsburgh Rehab and Nursing, 8 Bushey Blvd. Plattsburgh NY.
