Obituary of Joan P. Preston

Please share a memory of Joan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Joan Pearl "Joanne" Preston passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 90 in her hometown of Lake Placid NY. Joanne was predeceased by her husband Paul and her son David. She is survived by her six children; Shane (Sandy), Scott, Dan, Kevin (Lucy), Paula (Karen), Jennifer and her many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Joanne served her community thru various volunteer organizations and in her work & passion, as a Registered Nurse. She loved her family and friends, her faith, country music and baking. She was generous with her love and support and had a greeting card at the ready, for any and every occasion! We will all miss receiving those cards, the blue of her eyes and the ease of her laughter... There was always room for one more at the dinner table on Mill Hill ... and if you would, please wear something blue. A Graveside service will be announced for her friends and family at a future date. The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements. Please visit www.mbclarkfuneralhone.com to share a memory, upload a photo or leave condolences. Donations to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer Association would be greatly appreciated.
