Bigger than life and living it to it's fullest. This was Kevin Martin. Infectious and engaging in his manner, whether operating a piece of heavy equipment or using his culinary arts skills to create delicious meals, he did it with enthusiasm and perfection. He could also be found giving of himself to people less fortunate. Such as taking a blind neighbor on shopping trips or taking people to medical appointments and to the supermarket and never asking for anything in return and always with his big contagious smile and spontanious sense of humor. Kevin loved the wild beauty and solitude of the Adirondack Park, especially the Sawtooth Range, where he often camped. If you ever drive past The Whiteface Lodge on route 86 in Lake Placid, you will see a split rail fence that runs several hundred yards along the road, over 20 years ago and it stands straight and strong like Kevin the
man who built it, always did. We love you and will miss you Dear Friend. Safe journey, Barry & Grace

Kevin has been a constant in my life.
We both loved Anne of Green Gables, and he’d sometimes call me “Cordelia.”
Kevin’s infectious laugh and zany sense of humor along with his eccentric taste with a concentration on linguistics and being a devout Christian were amongst some of Kevin’s best attributes, that would make anyone be in awe of.
He was a-one-of-a-kind humanitarian that exemplified the true meaning of goodness of character.
Kevin will always be remembered as one of the most altruistic, funniest, kindest, fun-loving, thrill seeking person with the highest of intellect people that you could always count on throughout decades. He was always devoted and concerned with those who meant something to him if they were having any challenges in life.
He offered solid advice and prayed for you EVEN when he was going through his own storms. He had a way of not complaining what was ailing him in life.
You had to probe because he didn’t allow very many people into his head or heart. Only those who knew the real Kevin and earned his trust knew something would be wrong; even still you’d have to keep asking.
Kevin left an indelible imprint on my heart. ♥️ Rest in eternal peace with Jesus.
I’ll love and miss you forever; until we meet again. (True grit)
“Kindred spirits are not so scarce as I used to think. It's splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world.” (Anne of Green Gables-)
You will always and forever be my Kindred Spirit.
John 3:16 (NIV)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
