Obituary of Donna Rose Bordeau

Donna Rose Bordeau, 64, of Greenwood St., Lake Placid, NY passed away August 20, 2024. Donna was born October 20, 1959 the daughter of Donald R. Hare, Sr. and Alma DeFoe Hare. She was a graduate of Lake Placid High School, Class of 1978. Donna Earned her CAN and worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid, she also worked as a housekeeper and day care provider. Donna was exceptional at crafts and often sold her wares at farmers markets and craft fairs. Her greatest joy was of her grandchildren Blake, Cassie, and Elisah. Donna is survived by her son, Erik Hart; her parents, Donald Hare and Louise Hare; Three sisters, Kathie Moody, Joanne Vassar and Susan Holmes; two brothers, Robert McBride and Donald Hare, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Alma Hare, her first husband Howard Hart and her second husband Austin Bordeau. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Joshua Fund in her memory. Visitation will be held Monday August 26th at M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a prayer service at Noon and burial in North Elba Cemetery. Rev. Andrew Borden Will officiate.
