Obituary of Ruth Ann Goldstein

Ruth Ann Goldstein, 93, of Lake Placid, NY passed away August 10, 2013. A long-time resident of Lake Placid, NY and of Saranac Lake, NY she was the beloved daughter of the late Noah and Sarah Wenick Goldstein, and sister of the late Arthur Goldstein. She was a caring sister-in-law to Arthur's wife Florence, who preceded her husband in death. She was a loving aunt to Arthur's children, her nephews Bruce Goldstein of La Canada-Flintridge, CA and Joel Goldstein of Martinez, CA, and her niece Deborah Jokinen of Arlington, MA. Though she grew up in Philadelphia and spent her young adulthood in New York City, she came to love the quiet beauty of walks in the natural surroundings she discovered farther north. Once she began living in the tranquility she found so much to her liking, she chose to stay in the area for the remainder of her days. There are no calling hours. A graveside service at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Saranac Lake, NY will be held at a later date to be announced. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home, Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
