Champlain Jacqueline A. Harvey, 79, of South Street, Champlain, passed away peacefully Friday, November 22, 2013 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh August 14, 1934 daughter of the late Floyd and Germaine (Aubertin) Supernant. Jacqueline was a life resident of the Champlain area and was a graduate of Champlain High School. She married Charles "Red" Harvey of Chazy at St. Mary's Church in Champlain on April 12, 1958 and the couple resided in Champlain. Jacqueline retired from Wyeth-Ayerst in Rouses Point where she worked for many years. She was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida. She loved spending time with family and friends and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her loving family includes her husband of nearly 57 years, Charles "Red" Harvey of Champlain, her children, Kevin and Toni Harvey of Martinez, CA, Mary Lou and Daniel Todd of Prattville, AL, Dawn and Robert Collins of Peru, NY, and Dean and Sally Harvey of Morrisonville, NY her grandchildren Whitney Harvey, Jamie Martin, Scott LaPointe, Danae Todd, David Todd, Shawn Hicks, Ryan Collins, Ryan Harvey and Rachael Harvey, her great-grandchildren Damian Harrington, Zeita-Lynne LaPointe, Jacob Martin and Elijah LaPointe, and her sisters Joyce Young and Jean Lintner. In addition to her parents, Jaqueline was preceded in death by her sister June Meseck and her brothers-in-law, Darrrell Lintner and Alfred Young. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at St. Mary's Church, 86 Church Street, Champlain, NY with the Most Reverend Terry R. LaValley, Bishop of Ogdensburg, celebrating the mass. Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery on Church Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jacqueline's memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center, 75 Beekman Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
