Tom always provided the family with some sort of entertainment and we could usually plan on him sticking his head through the door in the den and then sitting with us and relating the latest drama or excitement in his life. We will forever miss those great moments.

I remember meeting Tom in the 4th grade when I went over to visit Courtney. I thought he was so cute and I would always hope to sneak a peek at him when I went to visit.
My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Rowe Family. You are a wonderful and beautiful family...especially my dear friend Courtney, whom I think the world of.

We all miss you very much. I will always remember the time you visited me in NYC and we went to the top of the Empire State Building and went to see the lighting of the tree - where you saved me from being elbowed and trampled by 5 year olds. And then we took a pedicab home - something that I had never done before. I'm so glad we had a nice Christmas and carried on the tradition of me wrapping your generous pile of gifts for family and friends. The little 'cookie fairy' you gave me is perched in my kitchen and will inspire me to continue to bake. Rest in peace - I know you will look after all of us.

I’m very sad to hear of Tom’s premature passing. I have so many memories of Tom. Although I wasn’t the dare-devil that Tom was, I was often a witness to his feats. I remember watching him skateboard from top to bottom around the corner of Main Street, while doing a hand stand; I remember the ski jump he made on the other side of the railroad tracks, the landing being on the slope heading down to Chazy River, man could he get some air time off of that; and of course, there was always one stunt or another on his bike. Most of all, what I remember is that Tom never seemed to be scared of trying anything that most of us would have thought of as crazy. He lived his life to the fullest and I can’t help but think that wherever he is now, he’s plotting what his next thrill will be. May he rest in peace.

Tom is an amazing person who was into so many adventures & challenges. Fearless and curious he was and I suspect still is.. Always had a smile, always friendly, always a friend. I would think he lived life to the fullest. I sure he did. I remember watching his ski and thinking, Super G alpine event US Olympics. Seeing him ice fish on the lake. He was and is an adventurer, an explorer. He welcome any challenge. He seem to look at everything as if it was new. He really seem more so than others, to taste all of life has to offer or at least try. He saw the good in people. His indelible mark that he has left on me, and I would dare think on everyone and everyone is, be happy, explore life, taste all it offers and all it has to give. Be good at what you do, strive to be better, be the best, follow your own star but, be you, be yourself, be nice, be kind. Thank you Tom Rowe for letting me know you.

Tom Rowe is a childhood friend I will never forget. He always had that daredevil approach to everything and you couldn’t help but love his gutsy nature…from riding his skateboard down Oak Street on his hands, to skiing double black diamond trails at Jay Peak before any of us would even dare to go on a blue trail. Tom was a fun, free spirited friend who always made us laugh. His kindhearted soul will be deeply missed.

Life goes by so quickly and not often do we take the time to reflect the past. This past week our childhood memories have been on constant 'replay'. As children Tom and I would climb the highest trees at our family homestead...I would make it a third of the way up...Tom would climb to the near top before I would climb down to go tell our parents. He taught me how to skateboard on the slightest of inclines...he took it to the next level and skateboarded down huge hills doing a handstand. He loved life and lived his short time on this earth...that of a hundred years. We will meet again my dear little brother. Love, Heather

Having been fortunate to work with Tom over the past year, and being able to experience his endless enthusiasm and diligence for everything he did, he will me sorely missed. In addition to his incredible abilities and work ethic, he was a true gentleman, and consummate professional.
