Obituary of Barbara M. Hoover

Barbara M. Hoover, 61, of Champlain passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 5, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving family by her side. Barbara was born in Plattsburgh, NY on June 1, 1952 the daughter of the late Genevieve (Matott) and Leeward Hemingway. She attended Chazy Central Rural School. Barbara married Norman Hoover on June 27, 1970. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Genevieve and Leeward Hemingway, her mother in law Mary Mashtare, her son Norman Hoover Jr., three brothers Jimmy Hemingway, Leeward Hemingway Jr, and Orville Hemingway, two sisters Hazel Hemingway and Theresa Seaver, and a sister in law Barbara Hoover. Barbara is survived by her husband of 44 years, Norman Hoover, her two daughters Lisa Hogle and her husband Tony Hogle, Becky Nieves and her husband Richard Nieves, five grandchildren Chalayne St. Clair and her companion David Perry, Chasity Hogle and her companion Steven Manion, Christina Hogle and her companion Christopher Sanchez, Tony Jr. and his companion Melanie Coupal, and Holdan Nieves, and four great grandchildren Aamiyah Sanchez, Aaliyah Sanchez, Emma Manion, and Natalie Hogle. She is also survived by six sisters, four brothers, and countless nieces, nephews and family friends Barbara was dedicated to her family and friends, and will be missed and loved by all that knew her. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain, NY 12919.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10th at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY with Rev. Clyde A. Lewis, pastor, celebrating the mass. Interment will be at a later date.
