I am so lucky to have been able to call you my grandfather. We were so blessed to have you and grandma as our grandparents. I could not have hand picked two better people to help raise us. I know how proud you were of all of my accomplishments. I couldn't wait to tell you my grades in college because I knew you would be so proud. I also know how proud you were when I finally became a teacher. As hard as this is for me I know that you and grandma are finally reunited and will always be watching over your family with love and pride. With love, Nichole

Dad
I love you very much and you will always be remembered in our hearts. This is the saddest birthday for us to celebrate for you. But now we know you are with Mom and celebrating with her and al passed family and friends. You were a man with great wisdom. Myself and many others would call you for answers to a lot of issues. And it would seem you had all the answers. I'll miss our daily phone calls and our stops for coffee. You were a wonderful father and always helped everyone in our family. You were appreciated by all. You taught me many things in life. I wish I had a lot of your talents. I know you would say I do. But they will never match yours. You and Mom will always be remembered in my heart and in hearts of many.
I love you Dad and say hi to Mom for me. I know the both of you will be looking over us.
Love
Kevin & Nicky

Grandpa Strack was my mentor. He was and still is proud of my calling in life. Without him and Grandma Strack instilling their values in me at a young age, I would not be the person I am today. I am so honored that I have always made him proud. This is the hardest time for me as I have lost my grandfather, mentor, and someone I could always call up and ask if I could go over and talk and nap with him. My heart is empty. I love you, grandpa <3

Al was most certainly a wonderful man. One of the oldest of a large array of first cousins, Al was someone to admire for his kindness, generosity, and strong sense of family. He's going to missed, but not forgotten.
