June E. Lister, 82, of Route 9B, Champlain passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Sciota, NY on August 28, 1932 a daughter of the late Napoleon and Theoda Lajmmier.
June was a life resident of the area and attended local schools. She was the loving wife of Paul A. Lister of Champlain whom she married July 4, 1981. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to family and will be sadly missed by her many friends and family.
Her loving family includes her husband of nearly 34 years, Paul A. Lister of Champlain and her daughter Jean Munson and her companion, Tim Harris of Pinellas Park, FL. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her son, Steve Rochette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at St. Mary's Church, 86 Church Street, Champlain, with Rev. William G. Reamer celebrating the mass. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary's Church. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain, NY.
