Obituary of June C. LaBelle

Mooers June C. LaBelle, 50, of Northstar Road, Mooers, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 18, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY April 25, 1964 a daughter of Priscilla (Geurin) LaGoy and the late Byron LaGoy. June worked on the production line at Delegar/Belcam, Inc. for over 26 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing board games, taking trips, fishing, and going out to the movies. She loved gardening and preserving vegetables. During the holidays, June enjoyed preparing a large feast for the family and baking wonderful desserts. She was always there to help out her family and friends. In addition to her father, Byron, June was predeceased by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frances and William LaBelle, Sr., and a brother-in-law, Raymond LaBelle. Her loving family includes her husband of 17 years, F. James LaBelle and their son, James of Mooers, her mother Priscilla LaGoy of Altona, her sisters Wanda LaBarge and husband David of Ellenburg and Cathy Goss of Ellenburg, her brothers Wayne LaGoy and his wife, Michelle of Altona and Albert and his wife Sherry of Ellenburg Depot, and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barbara Boyer and husband Dan of Alburgh, VT, Beverly Kellas and husband Mort of Chazy, Rose LeClair and husband Jim of South Hero, VT, William LaBelle and his wife Marilyn of Mooers, Bruce LaBelle and companion Gerry Garceau of Champlain, Brian LaBelle and wife Francine of Earlesville, MD, Robin LaBelle of Kansas City, MO, and David LaBelle and wife, Susan of Chazy. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Calling Hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain, NY. A prayer service will follow calling hours at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Clyde A. Lewis, officiating. Arrangements are in the care of M.B.
