Stuie was a great family friend and neighbor for years. He was always there to lend a hand or check on Mom. I always enjoyed coming home seeing Stuie drop by with thee mail giving me a few minutes to catch up on the news of his family whom he loved so dearly. He was what we all should hope to be - a good person - a solid, loyal human being. Rest in peace.

Dad I am going to keep this short , because the pain in my heart from losing you is unbearable, when you passed I didn't lose only my dad, mentor and best friend I lost my own personal Super Hero of 54 years. During one of your many visits to Rochester while mom was still with us, during a party at Cheap Charlies for whatever reason we were talking about you, mom said dad is a pretty good guy don't you think , and my response was no mom in my opinion dad is GOD. So with that said I can tell you without reservation that I'm not sure who the luckier one is , you being with Jesus or Jesus having the opportunity to be with you. I LOVE YOU

Gramp,
You were a honest, funny, kind-hearted man who's good spirit made even the darkest days shine a little bit brighter. From your two step to your endless sweet tooth I will miss you terribly but I know we'll see each other again someday. I love you and I am proud to be your granddaughter.

Dad - your passing has left me with an empty heart. I know you waited 10 long years to be with Mother and I can smile knowing you are together. You touched many people's lives just in the past 5 years you lived in the Rochester area. It didn't matter if you were in the ER at Strong, at your primary doctors office, assisted living and skilled nursing facility, all the staff just loved you. Your bright blue eyes and wonderful smile will never be forgotten by those who had the opportunity to meet you. I will cherish all of the great memories forever - it's going to be a long road for me to even start to heal from you not being here to be with us. Please give mother a kiss for me and until we meet again, know I love you very much and I will try to be strong to get through this pain i feel today. Miss you!

To the Morgan family so sorry to hear about uncle Stu. He was such a caring person. I use to love when Stu and Leta would come down to Cold Brook and visit Agnes and the family. He was always good with a quick joke. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Dad, my Margarita buddy. I love you and I will miss you. What a great man you were. You were also so understanding and calm (even when the boys wrecked all your cars) You gave me so much in the past 40 years, such good memories. ..vacations in South Carolina, Mexican lunches, and dancing with you (such a good dancer even if I tried to lead all the time) The greatest thing you gave me is the love of my life, Gary and in turn gave me the other love of my life, my son Dylan. I know you are with Mother and you are happy again (Hope the coconut cream pie is good there) Till I see you again I will carry you with me in my heart. I love you.

It has been over 50 years since I first showed up on the door step of the Morgan household which soon became my second and favorite home. I remember one evening at the dinner table eating everything in site and Stu looked across the table and remarked with a smirk I rather clothe him than feed him and another time Chuck, while having a little difficulty chewing on a piece of meat said this meat is really tough of which Stu quickly remarked "it's a lot tougher where there isn't any". Oh, the great feast memories of Thanksgiving & Christmas.
Inspiration! Desperately needed having grown up without a father was revealed to me when in utter amazement as I watched this man build a bedroom addition on their house. Without ever knowing he created in me a longing desire to build, a family and a home.
The most touching and cherished memory took place a year or so ago when I was visiting him in the nursing home when a nurse came into the room and Stu said I want you to meet my son-in-law, Doug Finch. Before I left and hugging him good by, telling him I loved him, he looked up and said I love you too.
I give God thanks for the memories of the man that made me a better man.

My Grandfather- I have had the extreme blessing of having you in my life these 47 years. Your kindness, constant support, calm demeanor, help for others, sense of humor and commitment to doing what's right are what will stand out the most. I never heard you say a bad thing about anyone. These past years have been tough- Missing Grandma, this horrid disease and missing your beloved Adirondacks. Anyone who spent any time with you automatically loved you and that you were a character. I have so many great memories and am so happy my child had you in her life for these 7 years ( She told me to tell you she loves you and will miss the "hand slap" game). You were the best father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Go in Peace, my beloved "Gramp". We love you and will miss you. Kim, Ed and Paige

Grampa,
You will live on in my memories as the strong and funny man who's made me laugh throughout the corse of my short lifetime. I want to thank you for the beautiful life you have given your family, and the best gift of all giving me my Father, Aunt, and Uncle who have also loved me unconditionally and taught me so much about life. I look forward to being in the Adirondack air and feeling my grandparents presence. You will be missed, but can now be in peace. I love you. Xoxoxo

Dad, you were a man who held and demonstrated, without exception, unwavering integrity, character and compassion; eager to help any and all no matter the situation. You will be missed dearly by those left here on Earth, but you are now on your final journey to rejoin Mom and all your family and friends that passed before you. You easily navigated the long road and are now passing through the narrow gate. Rest in Peace, dear father.
