Obituary of Keith Morton Joseph Favreau

Champlain Keith Morton Joseph Favreau, 45, of 745 Prospect St., Champlain, passed away unexpectedly at 1:30 pm Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY January 22, 1967 a son of John A. and Carol C. (Emery) Favreau of Champlain. Keith was a life resident of the area and was employed with Powertex in Rouses Point for many years. He married the former Becky L. Demers of Champlain on May 3, 1986 at St. Mary's Church. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed his two cats, Princess and Shadow, who he leaves behind. In addition to his parents John "Jack" and Carol Favreau of Champlain, Keith is survived by his wife of over 26 years, Becky L. Favreau of Champlain, his daughter Emily Favreau and fianc Peter Rinn of Champlain, his son Ethan Favreau of Champlain, his brother John A. Favreau, Jr. of Rouses Point, his sister Julie Beth Tuggle and husband Jason of St. Louis, MO, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clifford "Red" and Betty Demers of Champlain, his brother-in-law C. Paul Demers of Champlain, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Randy and Paula Miller of Rouses Point. Two nieces, one nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. At Keith's request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Church, 86 Church St., Champlain, NY. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery on Oak Street in Champlain. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to gather at the family home on Prospect Street for a luncheon.
