Obituary of David Lewis Fay

David Lewis Fay, age 64, of Lake Placid, NY passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. Mr. Fay was born November 26, 1947 in Lake Placid, NY. He was the son of the late Seaver and the late Frances (Lawrence) Fay. He was a graduate of Lake Placid High School, Class of 1967 and earned his degree in Radiation Technology at NCCC. He was employed by White Barn Designs, Lake Placid, NY as a(n) Carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking and making wooden crafts of all kinds. Mr. Fay was instrumental in the design and layout of the new addition to the Lake Placid Volunteer Ambulance Service garage. He was a member of the Lake Placid Vol. Ambulance Service for over 10 years. He is survived by his wife: Paulette (Hunting) Fay of Lake Placid, NY; one son, Jonathan Fay and his wife Kimberly of Lake Placid, NY; one daughter, Rebecca Ramsay and her husband Jonathan of Napanee, Ontario and one sister, Beverly Fay of Blind River, Ontario. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Blake and Jenna Fay and Clarinda, Josef and Jeremiah Ramsay. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 16th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home, 2310 Saranac Ave, Lake Placid, NY 12946. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. William Saxton Pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church will officiate. Cremation will follow. Burial will be in North Elba Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in memory of Mr. Fay be made to the Lake Placid Vol. Ambulance Service, P.O.
