I worked with Patty when she first started teaching at BOCES. Both of us being Italian girls gave us an instant bond. I always loved Patty's spirit, sweet, kind and warm! Her smile was infectious and her eyes always drew you in. You couldn't help but feel better after being with her even for a few minutes. She was a great teacher with so much heart and caring. I am so sorry to hear she has passed. She truly was a beautiful person.

Patty and Owen traveled with Habitat for Humanity in April, 2006 to help rebuild homes in Pearlington, MS after Katrina. Hard-working, upbeat, and FUNNY is the way Patty will be remembered by those who worked with her and those she helped. She and I shared new mother status with Debbie Neill and Kathy Zimmerman when our first borns were born, and Patty is remembered with great fondness by all of us. Her love of life and her intense dedication to her students and her craft will be some of her greatest legacies. Patty was one of a kind, and will be missed by many.

My deepest condolences to you, Owen and Tyler and to the rest of Patty's family. I'm sure these last few months were stressful for all of you. I can still see Patty out for a walk in the neighborhood so her memory lives on. May she rest in peace.

Patty's smile, energy and passion is what I'll always remember. I spent so much time with her family when I lived next door on Anderson Ave., there are also so many little things that always remind me of her. I will never forget her.
I am so very, very sorry for Patty's boys and family.

I will always remember Patty ' s enthusiasm for life. She always had the best and warmest smile and a great laugh to boot. Even though she was suffering her own ailment, Patty always asked how I was doing. Best of all, Patty was a great friend to my sister and I know how much she will be missed.
My deepest condolences to her father, siblings and sons. May God help you all through this difficult time.
With my love and sympathy,
Corinne Bonadies

From the first day I met you at the restaurant in the early 80's I thought WOW this is the happiest, most energetic person I ever met. And in the several decades that passed you never missed a beat. I am grateful to call you friend. You are genuine and a true seeker of goodness in others. I will keep you in my heart always.
