Obituary of Allen V. Mihill

Allen V. Mihill, age 76, of Lake Placid, NY passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at his home on Jersey Drive in Lake Placid, NY. Allen was a great man. In his younger years he liked to go out and have fun with everyone. Allen was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator and had worked for several companies in the Lake Placid area. He loved his machines and could fix anything. He loved his family very much, especially his dog Punky, and his new dog Baby. Allen was born October 15, 1938 in Wilmington, NY the son of the late Winifred and the late Goldie (Baker) Mihill. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra J.Kilburn Mihill; his six children, Tammy Riedl, Shawn Kilburn Mihill, Damon Mihill and his wife Shelly, Samantha Euber and her husband Larry, Allen Mihill and his wife Linda and Matoaka Rodier and her husband Wayne; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Costa and Brad Buffa, Ali Lawrence, Amber Mihill and Donald Herzog, Matoaka Riedl and Cheyanne Euber; 6 great grandchildren, Sophie Spanburgh, Emma Lawrence, Sylvia Buffa, AJ Lawrence and Frank Lawrence. Allen is also survived by Winifred Mihill and his wife Ceil, Kenneth Mihill and his wife Phyllis, Dick Mihill and his wife Sandy, Billy Mihill and his wife Lorraine, Patsy Ferro, Peggy Rock and her husband Herbie and Allens special friend Seldon "West" Hochcharter. Allen is predeceased by his parents, Winifred and Goldie; his daughter Tina; two brothers, Darwin and Tommy; his beloved dog Punky; son in law Tom Riedl and sister in law Valerie Kilburn The Mihill family would like to invite family and friends to their home at 66 Jersey Drive, off Averyville Lane for a time of visitation on Saturday, April 11th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with brief funeral prayers to follow at 4:00 PM.
