Jean B. Lintner, 79, of Route 9, Champlain, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at UVM Health Network at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving children by her side. She was born in Champlain, July 21, 1935 a daughter of the late Floyd J. and Germaine L. (Aubertin) Supernant. Jean was a life resident of the area and was a graduate of Champlain High School. While working at the Candy Cupboard in Champlain, she met and fell in love with Darrell J. Lintner and the couple united in marriage on October 27, 1962. From 1957 to 1995, Jean worked as a Group Leader for Wyeth-Ayrest Labs in Rouses Point. Jean was a devout catholic and was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Champlain. She enjoyed bowling, the Red Hatters, traveling and taking pictures. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending lots of time with her grandchildren. Her loving family includes her children, Jon D. Lintner and wife Sharron of Mooers Forks, and Mary J. Chaffin and husband Christopher of Champlain, and her grandchildren, Morgan Lintner, Caitlyn Lintner, Jacob Lintner, Nicholas Chaffin and Amelia Chaffin. Also surviving are her sister Joyce Young of Altona, her brother-in-laws, Charles Harvey and Bryant Meseck, her sisters-in-law Gloria Kelly and Gertrude Lintner, her brothers-in-law, Paul Lintner and wife Kathy, Roger Lintner, and Carl Lintner and wife Alida. Several nieces, nephews and very close friends also survive. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband Darrell J. Lintner, a son Peter Paul Lintner, two sisters Jacqueline Harvey and June Meseck, her mother and father-in-law Mildred and Thomas Lintner, her brother-in-laws, Alfred Young, Thomas Lintner, Donald Lintner, and John Kelly, and a sister-in-law Joyce Lintner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Mary's Church, 86 Church St., Champlain, NY with Rev. Clyde A. Lewis, pastor, celebrating the mass. Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery on Church Street. Contributions in Jean's memory may be made to St. Mary's Church or to Palliative Care at CVPH.
