Obituary of Alice M. Glode

Rouses Point Alice M. Glode, 88, formerly of Coopersville, NY, passed away Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. She was born in Coopersville on October 21st, 1926, a daughter of the late Edmond and Albertine (LaFontaine) Ducharme. Alice was a life-resident of the area and was of Roman Catholic faith. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point for many years. She enjoyed square-dancing, watching Donnie play baseball, and bowling, but above all, her greatest joy were being with family and friends. Her loving family includes her children Gary Nutt and companion Karola Rabideau, Michael Nutt and wife Patty, and Norma Nutt-Glode and fiance, Kevin Kelley, her sisters, Sr. Bernadette Ducharme and Virginia DeGray and husband, Bob, sister-in-laws Rose Ducharme and Eleanor Ducharme, and a brother-in-law, Albert Gokey. Several grand-children, great grand-children, and nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Alice was pre-deceased by her husbands, Peter D. Nutt, Wilbur Guyette and Floyd Glode, her daughter, Nancy Nutt, her brothers, Richard, Bernard, and Ernest Ducharme, a sister, Pauline Louie, sisters-in-law, Theresa Ducharme, Phylis Gokey, Laura Martin, and Grace Nutt, and brothers-in-law, Glenn, Robert, and Frank Nutt. Calling hours will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22nd at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at St. Patrick's Church, Lake street, Rouses Point.
