Maurice "George" Glaude, Jr, 62, of Rouses Point, NY, died unexpectedly at home on June 3, 2015.
George was born February 21, 1953, in Syracuse, NY and was a lifelong area resident of the North Country. He worked as a toll booth collector for the Lake Champlain Bridge Commission, and finished his career at the New York State Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Glaude of Rouses Point; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jared Smith and two grandsons, Alexander and William Smith of Dedham, MA; his aunt, Deborah Evans, of Miami, FL and numerous cousins, brother and sister in-laws, and nieces and nephews. George also left behind many amazing friends that were part of his "crew;" and his best friend of all, a Doberman Pinscher, Bella.
He is preceded in death by parents, Patricia F. Faerber and Maurice "Mike" Glaude Sr.
George loved rock-n-roll, the outdoors-especially the Adirondacks, maps, trains and history. He lived his life to the fullest until his very last day.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point. Immediately following calling hours, George's family would like to invite all family and friends to the American Legion on Pratt Street for a "Celebration of Life" Party.
