David J. Barker, 65, of Rouses Point, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at UVM Health Network / CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, May 6th, 1950, son of the late Edward John and Melvina (LaPan) Barker.
David was married to Diane (Trayah) Barker of Burlington, VT on December 29th, 1995.
In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a sister, Rose Deso and a brother, Paul Barker, both of Champlain, NY.
His loving family includes his wife, Diane of Rouses Point, his sons Gary Treyah and wife Molly of Burlington, VT, Jason Hilliker and wife, Mindy of West Chazy, his daughters, Heather Krone and husband, Kevin of Latham, NY, and Holly Barker of Rouses Point, a step-daughter, Misty Treyah of Burlington, his grand-children, Norah Treyah, Cody and Keegan Hilliker, Zachary Krone, and Summer and Sam Treyah. He is also survived by a sister, Betty Mills of Champlain, and a brother, Rodney Barker of Connecticut. His mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Calling Hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point. A prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Deacon Noel Hinerth, officiating.
