Shawn Christopher Gladd, 40, of Rose Blvd, Orlando, FL, formerly of Rouses Point, NY, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY August 16, 1971 a son of Donald P. and Shirley (Guerin) Gladd of Rouses Point.
Shawn was a 1989 graduate of Northeastern Clinton Central School in Champlain where he enjoyed playing hockey and golf. He also enjoyed playing darts and played in area leagues, mostly in Florida.
In addition to his parents, Donald and Shirley Gladd of Rouses Point, Shawn is survived by his children, Avery and Jordyn Gladd of St. Cloud, Fl, his brother Michael Gladd and wife Barbara of Rouses Point, and his grandmother, Eleanor Gladd of Rouses Point. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Shawn was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Gladd, his maternal grandparents Eugene and Lorena Guerin, and an uncle, Joseph Gladd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Patrick's Church, 138 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY with Rev. Clyde A. Lewis, Pastor, celebrating the mass. Interment will be at a later date.
Contributions in Shawn's memory may be made to his family in care of the funeral home.
