So terribly saddened to learn of Gay's passing, she absolutely loved working for the Sinfonietta and was always excited and eager to share ideas with me for the future of the orchestra, it never seemed like a job to her, it was a passion. I wish I had got to know her better, we will surely dedicate a future concert in her memory, we will all miss her. My deepest condolences to Don and the family

We are so sorry for your loss. We are glad we got to spend some time with Gay and her family members this summer at the JBL reunion. It was impressive to see how she was so determined to fight her difficult aggressive cancer, even though it sounded like such an insurmountable battle. We know from experience how important it is to have strong family support. Thank you all for taking care of her!

Don, Ian and all, Kathy & I are so sorry for your loss. Thanks so much for inviting me to dinner this fall. It was so nice that I was able to spend time with her, with Don & friends. We are so glad that we met Gay through scouting, so long ago. She always had such a positive attitude and always shared a smile with everyone.

I remember when Gay married my cousin Don and what a wonderful time we all had. She had then, and I am sure had until the day she died, a beautiful soul spreading her joy and sense of peace everywhere she went.
I know she loved Don with all her heart and I remember well the day their son Ian arrived. I have never experienced an entire family being so joyful. My Aunt and Uncle (Neva and Tom McMullen) were beside themselves with happiness as Gay and Don had the child they thought they would never have. Truly, a son was never so loved and cherished.
We all grieve your passing Gay but I know you will live on in memories and as part and parcel of your son Ian.
Both John and I send our condolences to the family.

Gay was very bright, very talented, very dedicated and very caregiving - as all of her brothers, sisters and friends can attest.
Gay was the "dean" of all legal secretaries in the county. Other law office personnel, other attorneys and many of my own clients sought her advice and assistance.
As great as Gay was in her profession, she still had the heart and energy to love and care for her husband, her son, her siblings and her friends.
I was lucky enough to have her as my right arm and my friend.
I loved her.
