Obituary of Darla Ann Smith

Darla A. Smith, age 53, of Lake Placid died Monday, December 14, 2015 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. Darla was born April 18, 1962 the daughter of Francis and Beverly Fisk of Lake Placid, NY. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents Austin and Helen Preston of Lake Placid. Darla is survived by her parents Francis and Beverly Fisk of Lake Placid, NY; Loving Husband of 34 years, Thomas Smith of Lake Placid, NY; her daughter, Ashlie Smith of Lake Placid, NY; her son, Trent Smith of Lake Placid, NY; her granddaughter, Alysesianna Smith of Lake Placid, NY. She is also survived by one sister, Lisa Cahill of Lake Placid, NY; one brother, Francis Fisk Jr. of Lake Placid and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Darla was devoted to her family and was always there for them. She loved spending time with her children, and granddaughter. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafts.
