Carolyn Ann Hare, 71, of Cascade Road, Lake Placid, NY passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at her home in Lake Placid, NY. Mrs. Hare was born January 29, 1944 in Lake Placid, NY. She was the daughter of the late William and the late Pauline (Durgan) Wilkins. She married Kenneth Hare in Lake Placid, NY on April 6, 1963. She was a graduate of Lake Placid High School, Class of 1962 and a graduate of Albany Business College in 1963.
She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Hare of Lake Placid, NY; one daughter, Barbara LeFebvre and her husband John of Onchiota, NY; one son Brian Hare and his wife Karen of Jay, NY and one granddaughter, Eva Hare of Jay, NY.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 2nd from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Donations in memory of Carolyn Hare can be directed to the Lake Placid Vol. Fire Department or the New Hope Church.
