Patricia Ann Dwight, 78, of Prospect Street, formerly of Champlain, passed away Monday, January 18th, 2016 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on July 23rd, 1937, a daughter of the late Armand and Eva (Babbie) Favreau.
Patricia worked for many years at Anderson-Little, where she was head of the women's department. While living in Connecticut, she also worked for Singer Sewing Machines, and Brown's grocery store.
During her mid-forties, Patricia developed multiple sclerosis, which limited her ability to work. Her last vacation was to the Thousand Islands, where she enjoyed wine and dinner on the water.
Her loving family includes her husband, Ward H. Dwight, Jr., of Chazy, her daughter, Shari Butchino, her siblings, Florence Cardin, Lucille Wells, Rose Favreau, and Roger Favreau, her grandchildren, Ian, Curtis, Nicole, and Dominica. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Damian, Mercedes, and Makenzie. Including her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her sister, Betty Packard.
Calling hours will be today, Wednesday, January 20th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21st, at Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral home in Champlain.
