William L. Shurter, age 65, of Lake Placid, NY passed away after a lengthy illness, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. Mr. Shurter was born September 14, 1951 in Ellenville, NY. He is the son of William and Phyllis (Gallagher) Leslie.
He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Lake Placid, High School, Class of 1969 and worked at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, NY.
There are no calling Hours.
A graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 8th at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes Cemetery in Lake Placid, NY. Rev. Paul Kelly will officiate. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
