Obituary of Arnold J. Beeman

Arnold Beeman, 80, of Chazy passed away unexpectedly , Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh August 27, 1936 a son of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Bechard) Beeman.
Arnold was a life resident of the area and was a graduate of Chazy Central Rural School. For many years, Arnold was a self-employed farmer and owned and operated Beeman Farm Equipment. He married Jeannette Guay at St. Mary's Church in Champlain on August 20, 1960, and she predeceased Arnold on July 19, 1986.
Arnold was a life-time member of the Elk's lodge #621in Plattsburgh, as well as Knights of Columbus council #3525 in Champlain, he was also on the board of directors for Chateaugay co-op, and a member of the DHI and Eastern AI.
Arnold was a kind-hearted, happy-spirited man who was loved by all.
Arnold is survived by his companion Fran (Rubado) Baxter, his children Kathy and husband Mike Livingston, Brian and wife Shelly Beeman, and Debra and husband Russell Thomas, his grandchildren Bradley and Brock Beeman, Skyler and Hunter Thomas, his sister Alice Bocare, and brother Roswell Beeman, along with extended family Cindy and Todd Smith, and Heather Gardener and their children. Several nieces and nephews and many friends also survive.
Calling Hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2016 at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Joseph's Church in Coopersville. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
