My Dearest Connie...
Where did I put the time that I should have spent with you? I am so sorry that I didn't even call when you were in Plattsburgh. I've been wracked with guilt for the last week...saying I should have gone.And now you're gone. It's like the world slammed on the brakes, giving everyone an unexpected jolt when you left us and then started spinning again like nothing happened.
There hasn't been a day where you're not in my thoughts, wondering how you are, what the view is like, how many pictures you've taken. Because your view is the best.
I hope Uncle Reggie, your Dad, was there with open arms and Wayne right next to him, to greet you on your new journey. I hope Lana was there with a big smile and her arms reaching for you.
Your life here on earth was rich. Rich in family, rich in the love of others, rich in your accomplishments. And we were richer for knowing and loving you. Keep the hats going because we love them, too!

Today is harder for me the all the rest. I see your obituary and have to see now this is no longer some nightmare, it is real. You will always live on in my memories. I love you now and always my cousin/sister/witch sister. I miss already all the fun we had, you are part of the reason I got in photography and Ghost radar. I will continue taking pictures remember all that you said about taking pictures. You and Pam helped me a lot and are the reason I have such a great love for picture take. I am so glad the girls and I got to go see you one last time. And your words will stay with us forever. Connie, my heart is in a million pieces. You fought this battle so hard, your desire to live was so great but your body could no longer go on. You left this world surrounded by your family holding your hands, touching your face and just loving you. Mom was holding your hand when you took your last breath and dad was there to take your hand the moment you crossed. You were never alone.I will be forever greatful for the times you just listened to me ramble while I was sorting out lifes problems (now Wanda and Cindy are stuck with me) you always stood by my side and I thank you for that. I look forward to the future and I can't imagine you not being a part of my life. I am struggling with the final good bye, I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. I have been so busy fighting for your life right beside you that I don't know what to do with myself. I'll never forget the last hours we had alone together, I know you were scared, I was too! I know you had a great belief in God so I know you are safe in his arms. I know you are surrounded by all of our loved ones in heaven and that conforms me some. I promise to keep you alive until the day I die. I will talk about you, remember you, show pictures of you. You will live in my spirit. I love you Connie Bug. You got to see dad first! Dad please keep Connie safe until the day we all meet again. I love you both.
