To Terry and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I have so many great memories of Bill and the Saranac Lake High School ski team. Also, summer boating and parties up the lake in the mid 60's. We had many funfilled days in the mid 70's skiing and enjoying the nightlife in Vail and Aspen, Co.
Bill was such a nice guy and a pleasure to be with!
Sincerely,
Roger Hesseltine

RIP Bill. I'll always remember your sense of humor and laid back personality. You were not only a credit to your profession but a shining example of a good man. Thank you for guiding me in my youth to except the best in people and expect no less. You were the best hash slinging phamacist I've ever known! Go Yankees...say hi to Mickey Mantle and Thurman Munson for me. Condolences to Terry, sons and family. Peggy Ivimey

I am SO sorry to learn about Bill's passing.
I worked with him at Pleasant Valley Pharmacy for many years while I was in college. He was one of the funniest people I knew - that dry wit used to make me laugh and laugh! I will definitely remember the fun we had ... me and the "older people" who used to work there ... Bill, Walt, Judy ... I was the young kid of the group & they used to welcome me back each summer and during Christmas break. We always had a lot of fun, for many, many years. It never felt like work.
My sincere condolences to his family. He was a great guy!

Bill was the best brother-in-law. He was Terry's soulmate. He loved to joke with me when I would call. He had this thing with me whenever my TN Vols would lose a football game, he would call me and tell me to call the coach and tell them to fire everyone and hire him as the head coach for the Vols. Of course, he was never a football coach but he loved to give me a hard time about it. He made me laugh alot. He was so kind, gentle, warmhearted and loving. He loved his Giants, Rockies and Yankees. Bill, Nick, my brother Jeff and nephew Cal all went the Old Timers game at Yankee stadium in 2011. Jeff had gotten tickets for them. Bill said he had been to Yankee Stadium many times but had never had better seats. It was a great time for all of them. I have so many wonderful memories of Bill. I will miss him so much. My heart is broken. I love you Bill. Rest in peace. You are with God now. Michelle (Anut/Peanut).

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Bill's passing. He was such a good friend and employer to myself and many of my extended family between his lunch counter in Saranac Lake and the Lake Placid Drug. He will certainly be missed not only by his family but by the many people who depended on him for advice because of his profession or just to visit with him to enjoy his joke telling and sense of humor. I do hope he had that opportunity to ride around drinking beer and throwing the empties in the back of his pickup .
Rest peacefully Bill, you've earned it.
