This man was my hero, my everything, I lived my life in constant fear of ever losing him. He was actually one of the smartest men I ever knew. Some of the things he taught me when I was little didn't make sense to me (until I got older and replayed it in my mind). I regret being such a a bad child and young woman, I wish I would have listened when he told me pot was a gateway drug. I regret that I was in prison the day he died, however what I realize now is if I hadn't been I most likely would have died that day with him. God was on my side. He is the reason I got my GED and went to college with a 3.8 GPA. I wanted to make sure I made him proud of me before he left. I love you dad, I miss you and I think of you every single day. Rest in peace until we meet again. Give mom my love.
